Here's our story

Jon and Chelsea Sherman started 24hr Pottery with a vision of creating a unique community space that offers the flexibility and accessibility often missing in traditional pottery studios. They identified a gap in the market for an art space that caters to busy, modern lifestyles—particularly for tech workers, parents, and people seeking self-care who may struggle to find time during regular business hours. Recognizing a demand for 24-hour access and community-oriented creative outlets, they launched 24hr Pottery to empower people to engage in pottery on their own schedules.
Their passion extended beyond creating pottery studios; they wanted to build a sustainable business model that other entrepreneurs could replicate. By developing proprietary software and systems for member management and access control, Jon and Chelsea aim to make 24hr Pottery a movement that supports communities, nurtures creativity, and encourages people to reconnect through art.
Today, Jon and Chelsea own 5 member-based studios and one community art center with additional locations coming. The journey has taught us a lot and we'd like to share what we've created to new inspiring studios, or to existing studios interested in adding memberships or simply to refine current operations.
